Airplane Engagement Session

Do you and your partner love traveling, or is one of you a worker for an airline? If so, I would highly recommend having an airplane inspired engagement session.

I had the honor of capturing this couples engagement session at the airline hangar, and it was quite possibly the COOLEST session I’ve photographed yet.

Not only does the airplane make for a unique background, but it also allows for a wide variety of poses and playfulness in your session.

Anddddd you can do the classic ‘airplane,’ pose right in front of the actual thing. Fitting, right?! But in all seriousness, if you want a next level session, don’t be afraid to ask to incorporate objects or unique backgrounds!

Point beach state park photoshoot

Point Beach State Park in Two Rivers, Wisconsin has easily become one of my favorite locations to photograph at. This lesser-known state park is home to soft golden sand, hiking trails, and the sparkling blue waters of Lake Michigan. It’s stunning, to say the least.

Point Beach is the perfect place to not only enjoy on a hot summer afternoon, but also gain photo inspiration. This location has been one of my go-to photos spots also due to its proximity. It’s only a 45 minute drive from Green Bay, 1 hour from Appleton, 1.5 hours from Door County, and 2 hours from Milwaukee.

This was one of many sessions I photographed at Point Beach State Park over the summer, but this portrait session will forever remain one of my favorites.

The sand dunes, wooden walkway, and golden hour were the perfect recipe for a gorgeous backdrop.

Feeling inspired by the beauty of Lake Michigan, I asked my model if she’d be willing to dive in to get some creative shots… after a few sips of sangria, she was all in to brave the cool waters.

Wisconsin Engagement session -Kohler andrae State park

Kohler-Andrae State Park is a gem found in Sheboygan, WI. It’s famous for its winding wooden steps and abundant sand dunes, situated on Lake Michigan.

This picturesque park not only offers endless stunning views, but also makes for the best photo session location!

Wisconsin Ice Cream date

Summer in Wisconsin is always better with an ice cream date night. What’s even better? Having these memories photographed! Located downtown Appleton, you’ll find Frio Mexican Treats, the most delicious shop serving homemade churros, ice cream, and so much more!

Aside from the tasty treats, Frio is the perfect backdrop for a couples photoshoot. From brightly colored tables and chairs, to the picturesque walls, there is no shortage of photo ops at this aesthetic shop.

This ice cream date was such a fun and unique way to capture their couples session. The only downside was that my mouth was watering the whole time… Don’t worry, I got some of my own after the session. If you’re thinking of having your date night photographed, DO IT! You won’t regret having these memories to look back on!
